DELAWARE- Steve Bastinelli, Sussex Central High School, Georgetown Delaware (top position) won his third straight championship with a 12-4 victory McGeehan of Archmere. Steve finished his high school career without loosing and interscholastic match. Steve won 84 straight matches.

Wisconsin Northern Open- Wisconsin's Pat Christenson riding Carl Adams during a tough championship match. Christenson won in overtime 3-3, 5-2. the Northern Open has been billed as being one of the nation's toughest tourneys. Dan Gable was beaten by Lee Kemp in the 158-pound finals. Abdulbekov Zogaloo- on his way to a Gold Medal in the 1972 Munich Olympics. Mr. Zogaloo is considered the Soviet's best contender for the Olympic Games in Montreal, Canada which will start July 20th and end July 31st. Zogaloo will write a Russian Technique series in the necxt 10 issues of SWN this year.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- Greg Hicks, Athletes in Action 180.5 pounder, attempting to turn Wisconsin's Pete Leiskau enroute to the title. New York AC, led by champions John Morley and Paul Gillespie, dashed away with the team championship, piling up a 75-34 margin over the Athletes in Action. Wisconsin Wrestling Club was third at 26 and defending champion Mayor Daley was fourth, another three points back. Completing the list of 1975 National Open champions were Gary Uram of Lock Haven at 105.5, Morley at 114.4, Jack Reinwand of Wisconsin at 125.5, Keller at 136.5, Gillespie at 149.5, Maple at 163, Hicks at 180.3, former Washington star Mel Renfro of Louisiana State at 198, Hellickson at 220 and Larry Avery of Michigan State, heavyweight.
